The Laboratory of Visuality and Visualization at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (LabVis - EBA) began in 2010 under the direction of Doris Kosminsky, gathering undergraduates of the Bachelor in Visual Communication and Design & Visual Arts in an interdisciplinary approach to research and development of data visualizations. This website is the project's platform to exchange insights, ideas, works and theory concerning artistic data visualization, information design, visual studies, media and visual arts.
